NBA Betting: 2010 Phoenix Suns Predictions
NBA Betting: 2010 Phoenix Suns Predictions
The Phoenix Suns are a NBA Basketball team from Arizona. They are in the Pacific division of the Western Conference and the only team in that division that is not based in California. Their home arena is the US Airways Center which previously was known as the America West Arena. It is often known as the Purple Palace as the seats are all purple. You can bet on the NBA Phoenix Suns predictions and you might just come out a winner.
The Phoenix Suns have been a successful team since they began in 1968. They have the fourth best winning percentage after winning 56% of their games as of the end of the 2009 to 2010 season. During their 42 years of playing, they have had 19 fifty win seasons, and have made it into the Western Conference Finals nine times and gone onto the NBA finals in both 1976 and 1993. However, they have never yet won an NBA Betting Championship.
Every year, the Phoenix Suns hold a basketball exhibition on the first weekend in October at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden near the city of Palm Springs in California. The owner of the team is Richard Heckmann. Because Coachella Valley Recreation and the Park Districts Superintendent of Operations who is Craig DeWitt recommended the team play in the exhibition they held their first in October 2008. The stadium they use was obviously built for tennis tournaments but it can hold up to 15,000 people. During the 2008 exhibition, the Phoenix Suns lost their game to the Denver Nuggets. The following year in October 2009, the Phoenix Suns lost to the Golden State Warriors. However, in October 2010, they won the NBA betting against the Dallas Mavericks.
During the pre-seasons of 2008 and 2009, the Phoenix Suns had a training camp that was held in the auditorium at La Quinta in California and at the College of the Desert Gymnasium which is in Palm Desert in California. They trained alongside the Portland Trail Blazers. However, in 2010 pre-season the Phoenix Suns began training in San Diego and the Trail Blazers went to Tucson in Arizona.
During the Phoenix Suns first eleven seasons for the NBA they had no mascot. They first tried a sunflower costume; however, the idea never caught on. Then in 1980 a loyal fan of the Phoenix Suns sent a telegram that was delivered by someone in a gorilla costume. The NBA betting security of the arena saw him and invited him to entertain the fans during break times and he kept coming back until eventually he became the official mascot of the Phoenix Suns. The Gorilla, who is now known as “Go’ is well known for his slapstick humor, such as climbing the stadium stairs to the sound of the Rocky Theme, and he also does some fantastic dunks that he performs before the fourth quarter.
The pre-season standings for the Phoenix Suns for the 2010 and 2011 conference are:
Wins 2, Losses 6, PCT 0.250, GB 6.0, Conf 2-4, Div 1-1, Home 2-3, Road 0-3, L10 2-6, Streak L1
