Jeremy Lin: Harvard to Golden State
Jeremy Lin: Harvard to Golden State
The Lakers are still on the prowl for a guard to help fill some big shoes out front. Apparently Golden State was looking for a player who could perform the same duties. Thus far, Golden State is up 1-0 in this department as a Harvard guard appears to be headed their way. Jeremy Lin seems to have reached a deal with the Warriors.
The Harvard guard wasn’t drafted but has already made his skills well known through out the NBA. For now the deal appear to be a two year deal with the first year a partial guarantee and the second year a deal that would fall on the shoulders as an option for the team. During the summer workouts, he looked really good and after playing in the summer leagues, the guard had the attention of more than just the Warriors. Jeremy Lin is from Bay area and had openly expressed interest in playing for his favorite time.
If this deal is sealed, the Warriors will be looking at a training camp full of excitement. This is one guy who is already a big fan favorite just because of his energy and ability to pull off maneuvers that are fan favorites. Obviously with his Ivy League background, a high school state championship under his belt and the fact that he is Asian-American makes him a huge fan favorite almost anywhere in the NBA. Moreover, put Jeremy Lin near his home down, on the court with Stephen Curry and this could be the answer to at least some of the Warriors woes.
Got something to say?
