Kentucky Derby Betting: Kentucky Derby 2010 Contenders

Saturday May 1st, from Churchill Downs, we will see the 136th edition of the Kentucky Derby. Similar to previous runnings of the race horses that were expected to run have withdrawn and the field of 20 has some unexpected participants. The Kentucky Derby 2010 contenders and odds are now set for Saturday’s race. “Lookin at Lucky” was favored with 2/1 odds earlier today, but the odds have now changed to 4/1.

There are other Kentucky Derby 2010 contenders with slightly less favorable odds such as “Sidneys Candy” at 6/1 and “Awesome Act”, “Devil May Care”, and “Ice Box” all at 8/1 odds. You can view all of the Kentucky Derby odds and place your bets online at BetUs.com and receive a $400 bonus when you deposit $1000. The horses with the biggest pay out if they win are “Deans Kitten”, “Backtalk”, and “Make Music for Me” all at 35/1 odds. If you are feeling very adventurous you can even make wagers on who will win the Triple Crown.

The Kentucky Oaks race which takes place tonight has some horses that had hoped to be on the Kentucky Derby 2010 contenders list, but just did not make the cut. The Oak’s race is kind of like the little sister to the Derby race. The Kentucky Derby is the most watched horse racing event in North America. People of all ages have their selections for who will receive the famous blanket of roses; do you have you selection made yet?

It's racing season in America and The Kentucky Derby is this weekend, but Jane Velez Mitchell (tv host on “Issues”) said tonight she'll show that many of the horses are becoming dinner for someone??? Gross!

Got something to say?
