Antwaan Randle El a Steeler Again Antwaan Randle El was released last Thursday from the Washington Redskins. He was one of 10 players that Washington released and the wide receiver did not have to wait long for a team to pick him up. His old team offered him a three-year deal to come back to Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh was one of about six teams that were interested in the eight-year veteran. He will join free safety Ryan Clark, that the Steelers recently re-signed. Antwaan Randle El has spent the past four years with the Redskins as a backup receiver and punt returner. He will probably be used on the special teams, as well as a backup wide receiver for the Steelers in the upcoming season. This year the tournament will feature all 16 teams in the Big East Conference. The bracket has been released and the first day of play will feature seeds 9 through 16 playing. Matt Barnes Brings His Defense to Orlando Matt Barnes spent Sunday guarding Lakers’ Kobe Bryant, and it turned into quite a physical game between the two. Barnes who has been with six different teams is spending his first season with the Orlando Magic. He signed a two year contract that  pays him $1.6 million a year.  Barnes brings a whole new dimension to the Orlando team, which is his physical style of defense. Even though Kobe Bryant scored 34 points in their loss on Sunday, Barnes kept him to  12 of 30 shooting from the field. This also included Matt Barnes causing Kobe to miss his 20 foot jumper with only 1.2 seconds in the game, which would have tied it. He was able to keep on Bryant, which caused Bryant to become a bit irritated and was called for a technical in the third quarter....

Ben Roethlisberger Accuser This is not the first time that there has been a Ben Roethlisberger accuser.  Just last year, Andrea McNulty accused the Pittsburgh quarterback of rape in Lake Tahoe.  The charges were dismissed but it has not stopped the alleged victim from filing a civil lawsuit claiming damages from the 2 time Super Bowl winner. These current allegations have been brought on from a 20 year old college student claiming that Ben sexually assaulted her at a Milledgeville, Georgia bar.  There have been no formal charges filed as of yet, while the police continue to investigate. Undisclosed sources claim that the woman was extremely distraught while being interviewed after being checked at a local hospital.
